Rachel and Austin. Say it with me... AWWWWWWWH. Such a cute couple. These two met in college at Baylor, deep in the heart of Texas on a blind date. There was a little magic. 10 months later Austin was proposing in front of a huge traditional bonfire during Baylor's Homecoming weekend. Of course she said yes.
Unfortunately, Rachel and Austin were still in Texas and planning their wedding from afar with some help from family and friends. Austin was working and Rachel finishing her masters. We didn't get to meet in person until the week before. Lots of emails, phone calls and text messages got us through.
Their wedding day was perfect. It was my first time at Eagle Brook and it is such a lovely venue. Plenty of accessible shoot locations with that all important shade and very attentive staff. We even got to play with sparklers in the parking lot.
There were plenty of pleasant surprises throughout the day... The magical feels from Rachel and Austin's first touch before the ceremony. Rachel's stealthy humor. Austin's dance moves. The wit and love of their vows. The beastly strength of Rachel's bridesmaids when picking up Austin and their inability to "sas" me during group photos (love you ladies). The bestman's lighting skills while holding a glass of whiskey - intrical part of the sunset shot. Such a blast!
Congrats you two! It was a pleasure.
